How the mail-in service works

2. Remove the module using the manufacturer's procedure and post it to SRS RESET in Campbellfield, Melbourne — module only.
3. Typical turnaround is 1–2 business days after we receive the module.
4. After the serviced module is correctly refitted, the SRS warning light may clear provided no other SRS faults remain in the vehicle.

Safe removal & refit

• SRS/airbag systems are safety-critical. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's workshop procedure for removal and refitting.
• Isolate vehicle power as specified by the manufacturer and observe the manufacturer-specified depower waiting period before working on SRS components.
• Do not probe, bridge, bypass, trigger or emulate SRS circuits or components. If you are unsure of the correct procedure, use a qualified technician.
• SRS systems are safety-critical. Removal and refitting should follow the vehicle manufacturer's workshop procedure or be carried out by a suitably qualified technician.

After installation

• Reconnect and refit the module correctly, then scan the SRS/vehicle system.
• Any remaining faults in airbags, pretensioners, sensors, wiring, connectors, voltage supply or other vehicle components must be diagnosed and rectified separately.
• Clear fault codes only after the underlying faults have been corrected.
• After correct refitting, any remaining SRS faults elsewhere in the vehicle still require separate diagnosis and repair. A module service does not repair deployed restraints, sensors, wiring or vehicle power-supply faults.
