What the reset does on a Porsche Taycan

After a collision the SRS control module in a Porsche Taycan stores a crash-data code and locks. The airbag light stays on and the system will not arm, and a scan tool cannot clear it. We clear that stored data on the bench and return the module to its factory state, so once refitted the light goes out. We have not catalogued a Porsche Taycan part number yet, which does not mean it is unsupported — most are.

What to send

Just the module itself — you or your mechanic removes it from the Porsche Taycan and refits it afterwards. We do not work in the vehicle. Before you post it, check the part number printed on the label against the list below, or send us a photo of the label and we will confirm it and quote before you post anything.

Turnaround and where we work

Most modules are reset, tested and on their way back within about 24 hours of arriving, with tracked return post. The service is mail-in, so it covers every state and territory in Australia — there is no surcharge for being outside Victoria. If you are near Melbourne you are welcome to bring it in to the workshop at Campbellfield instead.
